Jackley settles suit with GOP donor

Mike Rounds got $6000, John Thune and Kristi Noem got $1000 from Amgen last cycle. Thune got $5000 from the criminals in 2012. Thune got $8000 and Noem got $2000 in 2010. Tim Johnson got $0 from Amgen in 2008.
Under a settlement announced this week, the company will pay $71 million to settle an investigation into illegal marketing of its drugs Aranesp and Enbrel, ending an investigation by 48 states and the District of Columbia. Amgen says it is pleased to have resolved the matters and adds it has a strong legal compliance program. [KWAT Radio]

Marty Jackley helped negotiate a settlement with his donor, GlaxoSmithKline. That firm has also been busted for bribery.
